Made especially for gardeners, a delightful terracotta version from the Tudor Series. Simply finished with a copper carbonate wash. Made from Earthstone terracotta crank clay. 20cm high with an internal planting space of 19cm x 8cm x 8cm. Supplied complete with a drainage hole in the base. A final firing to 1120 degrees should give this planter some resistance to frost damage. However, the detail on this pot will make it more susceptible to water remaining in the crevices, etc and subsequently freezing than other designs we make. It is the expansion that occurs when water freezes that causes damage. We would always advise you to brings inside the most precious of your planters during very low temperature, severe weather.
