More of these.
We have received more enquiries and feedback about this particular pot than any other we have made so far. Ian has begun to use this copper finish on a number of pots and plaques and has made more like the one above. This pot is also the first with people added and more have been produced including some using the Salford design. See Gallery 5 for more information about Salford Pot M. |
Maintaining a stock of our present range.
Sales of our existing range of pots and plaques has been very good indeed during 2005 to 2007. Consequently Ian continues to be busy restocking and maintaining our present range. Requests for specific pieces are always welcome. This can be done with no commitment to buy or deposit required until you have seen a photograph of the finished pot or plaque. If you are happy with what you see we will then send an invoice by e-mail. This invoice can be paid by posting the payment or online. Once your payment is received and cleared we aim to dispatch next working day. |
Lidded Pots
Very few lidded pots have been made so far. We have plans to make more of both the London and Salford series. Ian plans to continue experimenting with the colour and finish of these pots. |
And in 2008....
We want to increase the number of designs and also the range of products available in each design. At the moment there are 4 designs and these have sold so well Ian has spent most of 2007 making more of them. The range of products amounts mainly to pots and plaques although garden pots and planters have been introduced this year. So in the latter part of 2007 Ian has begun work on new designs (series) and new ideas for products. So do come and visit our website in 2008! |
House Pottery Plans now and into 2008
The House Pottery in the Garden
We had a very positive response from gardeners wishing to use our Bath Series pots for indoor and outdoor gardening. Plans to extend the range to include different finishes and pot shapes (number of sides to the pots) are progressing well. More traditional unglazed, plain terracotta finished pots are now becoming available. Ian has also made flower pots using the Salford design and plant containers using the London series design. See The Gardener's Gallery to view what is available for your garden.
A frequently asked question is 'Are they frost proof/resistant?'
We would expect our pots to be fine in all but the most severe of cold weather conditions. They are fired to a high temperature meaning that the water absorbency rate is relatively low. It is freezing water within the body of the pot that causes the damage. We would hesitate to describe any ceramic plant pot as 100% frost resistant/proof and would always advise you to brings inside the most precious of your planters during very low temperature, severe weather.
Tudor House Planters.
We originally showed you a plain terracotta tudor house plaque photographed in our garden and asked you to imagine a Tudor House Planter . Place your mouse cursor over the image to the left and you will see the original photo. Now you no longer have to imagine because here it is - the first of many.
Visit Gallery 4 for more details
Ian plans to experiment with a number of design variations. The Tudor plaque has been available for some time now but it has always been our intention to use this facade to make house pots too.
